Fall 2026 10u Team Head Coach

Coach Matt brings leadership, discipline, and heart to the QC Knights organization. Known for his passion  and high standards, he is deeply committed to developing young athletes both on and off the field.

With a strong belief that football is about more than just wins and losses, Coach Matt focuses on teaching fundamentals, accountability, teamwork, and confidence. He creates an environment where players are challenged to work hard, support one another, and grow as athletes and individuals.

Coach Matt emphasizes smart, physical football while also prioritizing safety, character, and sportsmanship. He takes pride in helping players build a strong foundation—whether they are new to the game or preparing for the next level.

Above all, Coach Matt is passionate about mentoring youth and being a positive role model. His goal is to help every player leave the season more confident, disciplined, and prepared for life—on and off the field.

Fall 13u 2026 Team Head Coach

Coach Les Spraggins is a cornerstone of the QC Knights coaching staff, bringing seasoned leadership, passion, and a deep commitment to youth development. He has been coaching the QC Knights since 2023, and before joining the Knights, he spent over 10 years coaching youth football—building teams, teaching fundamentals, and inspiring countless players along the way.  

In addition to his work with the Knights, Coach Les currently coaches at the high school level, where he continues to refine his craft and mentor young athletes. His experience across age groups gives him a unique perspective on player growth and the skills needed to succeed at every stage of the game.  

Coach Les is driven by a deep passion for serving others and helping each player reach their potential. Whether he’s breaking down blocking techniques, reinforcing core fundamentals, or encouraging a young player after a tough series, he leads with heart and intent. His philosophy balances a desire to win with an emphasis on character, sportsmanship, and teamwork—because he believes true success on the field is reflected in life off it.  

His leadership, experience, and drive make him a trusted figure in the QC Knights community and an essential mentor for the athletes he coaches. Go Knights!

Fall 2026 12u Head Coach

Coach Jay Hackett is entering his third year as a Head Coach with the QC Knights, bringing stability, experience, and a competitive edge to the program. His leadership has been instrumental in building a strong team culture centered on discipline, accountability, and consistent development.

Coach Hackett brings college-level playing experience, giving him firsthand knowledge of what it takes to compete at higher levels of football. He uses that experience to teach advanced fundamentals, football IQ, and the importance of preparation—helping players understand not just how to play the game, but how to approach it the right way.

As a head coach, Jay is known for setting high standards while maintaining an environment that supports growth, confidence, and teamwork. He challenges his athletes to push themselves, trust the process, and take pride in representing the Knights on and off the field.

Coach Hackett’s passion for the game, combined with his commitment to developing young athletes, makes him a respected leader within the QC Knights organization.

Fall 2026 11u Head Coach

Coach Yunan Abad is entering his first year as a Head Coach with the QC Knights and his second year with the organization. He brings a unique blend of kindness, passion, and competitive drive that makes him a natural leader for young athletes.

A former Division I track athlete, Coach Yunan understands what it takes to compete at a high level. His background in elite athletics shapes his coaching style—emphasizing discipline, effort, mental toughness, and the joy of competition. He loves to compete and instills that same fire in his players, while always keeping the experience positive and uplifting.

Known for his genuine care for kids, Coach Yunan is deeply passionate about serving youth and helping them grow both as athletes and as people. He creates an encouraging environment where players feel supported, valued, and confident to push themselves.

Coach Yunan believes that when athletes feel cared for and challenged, they thrive—and that philosophy is at the core of everything he brings to the QC Knights.
